Kristin Gerner Vaughn
Pastor Kristin Gerner Vaughn is a native of Guilford County and has found her way from coast to coast studying and practicing ministry. Connecting people to God story is her great joy. Reminding people that they belong and are loved is her favorite pastime. She can be found hiking a trail, laughing, cooking dinner, singing or making music with her bluegrass family if she isn’t doing the Lord’s work.

Kire Stenson‑Mims is proud to serve as the Youth and Children’s Director at Mt. Hope UCC. Kire is an elementary school teacher who loves working with children and helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and faith. She is married to Zeb Mims, the church’s Music Director, and together they are the proud parents of one daughter. She has a deep passion for youth and children’s outreach and is committed to creating spaces where young people feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged in their walk with God.

Zeb Mims
Zeb Mims is excited to serve as the Director of Music at Mt. Hope UCC. He has a deep passion for spreading joy through God’s gift of music and believes wholeheartedly in the power of song to bring people together. Zeb is an elementary music educator and loves teaching others to discover their own musical voice. He is married to Kire Stenson‑Mims, the church’s Youth and Children’s Director, and together they have one beautiful daughter.
